On May 7, Intel and Novell announced that a collaborative effort to promote the adoption of Moblin by OEMs and ODMs. Since joining the community in October 2008, Novell has been a strategic leader of the Moblin project and has led the open source development of key features such as window, e-mail, and media management.
The openSUSE Project offers a preview release of the Moblin v2.0 user interface on top of openSUSE. To get a feel for it, download the image recovery ISO image. We've also provided screenshots of the Moblin interface so you can see its ease of use.
